Coffee County Welcomes You!

Coffee County, Tennessee spans across 435 square miles and is located in south-central Tennessee. In just a little over an hour, residents can travel to one of three larger metropolitan areas: Nashville, Tennessee, Chattanooga, Tennessee or Huntsville, Alabama. The county is a popular place to raise a family and enjoy small town living with relatively easy access to more populated areas. Unlike some other rural counties, this one has a major interstate, I-24, that runs through it. One of the best things about living in this county is that it has so many off the beaten path wonders waiting to be explored. Machine Falls is one of several waterfalls that are favorite summer cooling off spots for long-time residents and visitors who will drive for hours just to hike to them. The Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park is a sacred prehistoric Native American structure located in Manchester. It is one of two archaeological parks in Tennessee.

While Manchester is the county seat, the city of Tullahoma has more residents. These two cities are the top two residential communities in the Coffee County. Tullahoma is home to Arnold Engineering Development Center. The city is known as a hub for aviation, aeronautics, and avionics. The University of Tennessee Space Institute is a graduate and research institution that is housed in Tullahoma. Since 2002, Manchester, Tennessee has become known for one of the largest music festivals in North America. The annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is held on a 1200-acre farm. Each year upwards to 80,000 music fans flock to Manchester for this four-day festival.
